"Tina helped my husband and I buy a home in the insane summer market here in the greater Seattle area last year, and I can say she is the definition of grace under fire. There are so many examples to share about her amazing service, so this might be on the longer side. Our situation was a bit unique in that my husband was in North Carolina while I was staying temporarily in Lynnwood (north of Seattle) and viewing homes in Kent/Auburn (south of Seattle). So just by design the situation was complex and unwieldy, but Tina handled it in stride, clearing entire weekends for her and me to trip around the area, view homes, and lock in bidding strategies for the peak market time. She was also phenomenal at clearly communicating with both my husband and myself on the local area, homebuying expectations and processes, and understanding the market in general, which I really appreciated as I was starting a new job with a new company and needed a solid foundation in what to expect out here. She is also incredibly organized, with thorough research done on each property before driving out for the viewing. Tina also responded almost immediately to all communications from both my husband in NC and myself in Seattle, and was almost always reachable by text or call (and when she wasn’t, it was communicated beforehand that she’d be out-of-pocket). With regard to the home purchase itself, I can confidently say we would never have been able to land this specific house at the price we got without her help. The home had only been on the market for a couple of days before the owners were ready to close bidding, so Tina called us, raced me over to the home, dialed their agent and actually got the sellers to wait until we were able to submit a bid the next morning. She won us the bid when the sellers’ agent contacted her to ask about us, and she told them what kind of family we are and what we’re passionate about (which she only knew because of her pleasantly chatty demeanor during our search). Then, during review, she was able to help us secure a price reduction for the roof. Finally, when our (poorly selected on our part) mortgage agent lost documents and generally created a panic environment immediately before closing, Tina sailed through with grace and poise, helping us make sure everything was in order and progressing. I would recommend Tina to any transplants to the area that are looking for someone who is completely competent in the process and diligent with each client’s individual search, as well as kind and compassionate with the family making the move.
